There are many ways to assess a dog's level of socialization. In this video, several dogs experience a handler tossing pieces of hotdogs. In this scenario, dogs that are not social may fight for the treats.
The dogs featured include a couple of dogs that were here from Mastiff Rescue, a couple of client dogs that had been in for training in the past (two mixed breeds and a Great Dane), and were back for boarding, a Board/Train client dog (mixed breed) that was here for dog-aggression issues, and a Weimaraner that had gone through our 360 Degree Dog rescue program, was placed (into a home where she was poorly treated and had become terribly fearful), and Pearl, a DarnFar Border Collie.
