| We have Black & White, Red & White and Tri-colored puppies with both Rough & Smooth coats. | ||
| We expect these
puppies to have superb temperaments, excellent structure, great work
ethic, lots of desire to please and be agile and quick. These
puppies are of exceptional quality; planned & socialized with great care.
Switch is a son of Imported Astra Tweed, an exceptional dog with a superb personality and intense work ethic. Switch's mother has an excellent working pedigree filled with well known American and Imported trial dogs. Switch is nearly the perfect companion animal - calm, relaxed, friendly, loving, loyal and respectful. He is wholly tolerant of young puppies jumping on him and tugging on his ears. He gets along well with other dogs regardless of whether they are intact males, "bitchy" bitches or elderly dogs for whom he seems to have great reverence. He is physically exceptionally well built, with a beautiful layback of the shoulders (great for jumping) and outstanding rear angulation. He is built to go all day long. Shimmer is a very affectionate dog - I call her sickening sweet as she cannot get enough petting and loving (from us and strangers). Her father is our Pete; a powerful, loyal dog that is intense when working but you'd forget he was even in the house when he's off duty. Her mother is our Yoli whose intelligence cannot be beat. Yoli is also a natural retrieving fanatic. Shimmer is a fearless, savvy herding working dog with natural stock-sense. At the same time she is an incredible mother with a sensitivity and dedication to her babies that is awe inspiring to witness. Good mothers help to socialize the puppies well before we humans can begin our work towards that end. This combination should prove to create brilliant, first class puppies that will be agile, intelligent, loyal, confident and competent in partnerships with folks who know how to direct this breed towards high goals. | $200 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a puppy until it is ready to go home. No money is required to submit an application, it is only necessary to reserve a puppy after the application is approved. Deposit is refundable if a puppy of the gender specified in the application is not available. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Receipt of deposit from approved buyers determines puppy pick order. We reserve the right to refuse sale for any reason. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Breeder reserves the right to participate in placement decision based on puppy temperament versus the buyer's lifestyle and intended use for the pup. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Smooth vs. Rough coat cannot be determined until around 5-6 weeks old. There is no guarantee as to the ear set of a puppy, as it is impossible to discern in young puppies. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| If
you have very specific expectations regarding markings and coat type,
sending a deposit (after the application is approved) will give you a higher
rank when the puppies are chosen around six weeks of age.
No puppy can leave DarnFar Ranch until it is 8 weeks of age. |

| We will gladly hold a puppy until it is 10 weeks of age. There after, we charge $35/week ($5.00 / day) for continued care and training until the new owner is able to come for the puppy. | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Approved puppy buyers may come and see the litter once they are 5 weeks old. Please do not request a visit before that time. If you are planning to come prior to the pick up date to choose your puppy, we recommend you come no earlier than 6 weeks of age, as before then they simply don't have as much personality and they fall asleep quickly after playing for a short time. | ||||||||||||||||||||
